BioHealth is committed to providing the highest quality lab testing at the most competitive prices possible. It is for this reason that we
do not directly bill insurance. In today’s insurance environment, the lack of reimbursement forces companies to charge inflated prices in order to make up for inadequate compensation.
You can submit claims to your health insurance provider directly or through your physician to seek reimbursement (see #2 below).
Transacting with the Lab
Tests are invoiced and payment is processed when your samples arrive at the lab for processing.
We offer your physician two options for billing:
Option 1: Clinician Pay
This option allows your clinician to keep payment information on file. When you send in specimens for processing, payment is processed using the payment information on file.
Option 2: Patient Pay
You pay BioHealth Lab directly. You can send in a check, or pay by MasterCard, VISA, American Express or Discover. We also accept debit cards attached to Health Spending Accounts (HSAs).
If you pay BioHealth Lab directly and provides an email address on the Test Submittal Form, you will receive an email copy of the paid invoice, along with the CPT and ICD10 codes associated with the test that was ordered. You will be able to submit a copy of their paid invoice to their health insurance company for possible reimbursement.
IMPORTANT: We are not able to release lab results for tests that have not been paid. If there is an issue with payment, one of our Client Services representatives will contact your physician.
